Jennifer partners with Tri-It Multisport and Be Love Yoga Studio

I’m very excited about a couple of new partnerships this Spring.

I will be offering 3 new classes out of Tri-It Multisport triathlon store at 2640 Parkdale Blvd. NW:Tuesday night YOGA BRICK,Friday morning Yoga for the Mindful Athlete and Saturday morning YOGA BRICK.  Join me for a short run and and hour of yoga riverside in the sun! I am also pleased to have found a space very conducive to Yoga for Stress Reduction. Be Love Yoga Studio is a hidden gem in the northeast community of Crescent Heights. Please join us for a relaxing,restorative,rejuvenating experience.

Yoga for Stress Reduction

“Stress” has become a common factor that most of us accept and live with in the western world. Increased levels of stress can lead to increased levels of cortisol (responsible for our “fight or flight” response) and,in the long term,several unpleasant physical,emotional,and mental conditions.

Yoga for Stress Reduction will use the principles of Yoga and Hakomi (Body-Centred Psychotherapy) to help you re-establish and nurture a connection with your authentic self.

Using yoga asana (postures),pranayama (breathing techniques),meditation,sound,visualization,and guided relaxation,this class will help you to locate an oasis of peace that is always available within you. This practice will help you to develop your capacity to slow down,to be still and to embrace silence.

Benefits of Yoga for Stress Reduction may include increased mental focus and clarity,increased motivation and energy,increased capacity to experience joy and laughter,and an increased sense of equanimity.
